Ellough Park - 3hr Endurance

On friday 19th March Jamie, Dan and Rory took part in The Sport Relief 3 hour endurance race which was held at Ellough Park Karting Circuit in Suffolk. 

First, there was a 15 minute qualifying session and the  team qualified in 2nd position in the pouring rain. Jamie was pushed into a spin on the 1st lap and dropped down to 15th position, within half an hour and a brilliant drive he had regained second place in the race. The team held 2nd position for the rest of race behind the winners, who consisted of, European karting champion, Super1 karting champion, the circuit owner and world champion, who Daniel Lee managed to overtake twice! As the chequered flag waved Rory Severn’s “TankSlapper” celebration received a standing ovation from the spectators.
