E-Plate - 14th / 15th November 2009

Practice day was a very windy and rainy day and we weren't able to get on circuit all day which meant I was unable to do any testing. Sunday was a lot nicer day and stayed dry. The Junior group had the biggest grid of the weekend with 21 drivers, this was the biggest Junior grid of the whole year. After the two Junior qualifying sessions I was able to get 8th on the grid for the pre-final. After making a good start and jumping up from 8th to 6th place I was able to hold onto this position throughout the race until the last 4 laps where I had a brake failure and was unable to continue racing. Now, this meant I had to start 21st on the grid, I was able to do a good drive from last to finish the final in 9th position overall in the 2009 E-Plate meeting. If I hadn't had the brake failure in the pre-final I may have been able to finish higher up in the main final.
